How 21 Day Fix Changed My Life and Ramping Up for 21 Day Fix Extreme

I’m a notorious workout quitter. I have very sporadically worked out my entire life and generally no longer than a few days at a time. The only time I’ve stuck with a workout longer was while I was pregnant with my daughter and I used an elliptical for 1 hour every day of the 9 months. I never really went on “diets” either since I never really ate a lot and was generally skinny.

I found myself with a 2 yr old daughter and not at all happy with where my weight had gone after giving birth. How did this happen? I don’t eat a lot of junk food… I don’t eat unhealthy… how did I get here?

A friend asked me back in November (2014) if I wanted to try the 21 Day Fix with her. I knew I had to do something and being accountable with her for only 21 days seemed like a good fit for me. Not to mention you were still allowed to have wine!


I started on November 17th and haven’t looked back! The 30 minute workouts are a breeze. The meal plan is simple and easy to follow taking out all the guesswork and calorie counting. I made it through my first round of the 21 Day Fix and lost 7lbs!

Why stop there? I still wanted to lose at least another 10 lbs, so I kept going. I’m in my 4th round right now and down 12 lbs. BeachBody just release the 21 Day Fix Extreme with a Countdown to Competition meal plan that I can’t wait to start! I’m really excited to see my final results after the Extreme Challenge and post my before and after photos.
